The federal government of Pakistan has made the tax structure for the mobile phone imports and the users will have to pay huge amount in the form of duties and taxes. The users will have to Pay Tax on Import of Additional Phones.
How Many Phones Can You Bring to Pakistan?
On the use of the foreign SIM, no restrictions are applied. If you use Pakistani SIM, you will get the device white listed in 30 days and if you do not do so then your phone will be blocked.
You can bring 5 phones per year to Pakistan and apart from one phone, you will pay the taxes and duties on all imported phones. If you bring 5 phones, you should use one phone and do not pay the taxes on it. But you will have to pay the taxes on the remaining four phones. PTA will handle the NOC requests and take the taxes for phones.

Sales Tax
The amount for sales tax is received as Rs. 1500.
Customs Duty
The amount for customs duty is received from tax payers at Rs. 250.
Additional Sales Tax
The additional sales tax is fixed at 3% of value of the phone.
IT Tax
The IT tax is fixed at 9% of value of the phone.
Provincial Tax
The provincial tax is applicable for Punjab and at 0.9% of the value of phone.
How Much Tax You’ll Pay Based on Phone Value
